The final quarter of 2020 was an eventful period for city building games in France. According to data from Sensor Tower, we observed diverse trends across the top five titles in this category.

SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts saw a steady increase in weekly active users (WAU), peaking at 141K in early December before slightly dipping to 137K by the quarter's end. Downloads for the game showed a marked increase, jumping from 5.5K to over 14K, while revenue also saw an upward trend, rising from $32K to $45K.

Another title from Electronic Arts, The Simpsons™: Tapped Out, exhibited a spike in revenue to $75K mid-quarter, followed by a gradual decrease to $17K. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 9.3K in late December, and WAU saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 178K.

Social Quantum's Megapolis: City Building Sim demonstrated consistent revenue, hovering around $5K to $7K, with an end-of-quarter rise to $5.9K. Downloads saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 4.2K, while WAU experienced a gradual increase, ending at 9.1K.

Lastly, Idle Light City by AppQuantum Publishing Ltd showed a revenue trend with minor fluctuations, ending at $301. The game's downloads peaked at 4.6K in late December, and WAU saw an increase, finishing at 9.9K.
